Baby #2

When I was pregnant with my first child I was slightly excited about everything. I took a pregnancy test before I even missed my period and took about 3 more after that first positive result. I was super anxious to go to the doctor and make it official but I felt kinda silly so I waited until I had actually missed my period before calling the doctor. It was a long week for me to wait and it seemed that the whole pregnancy took a really long time. I'm sure that's how everyone feels. In efforts to speed this pregnancy along I have kind of denied the whole thing. I took one pregnancy test about a week after I missed my period and didn't see a doctor for the first time until I was 12 weeks. Aside from minimal nausea I didn't really feel many side effects so it was easy for me to keep my mind off it and pretend I wasn't really pregnant. We even waited till about 14 weeks to tell any family. Now that I'm a bit further along and starting to show I am super excited about the second half of this pregnancy! I'm excited to start seeing the little nut moving around in there and the ultrasound! I can't help bit think we are having a little girl this time but if you look back to when I was blogging about archer I really thought I was having a girl then too. I went to the mall the other day and even bought the cutest little dress. I figure I can give it as a baby shower gift if we end up with another boy. But honestly, some girls might think I'm crazy, I secretly would love another boy. Aside from the fact that we already have all the boy stuff, I am comfortable with boys. And let's not forget about the drama we would be able to skip in the teen years! Ether way, I am just excited to have another member of our family to love and play with. I'm excited for archer to have a sibling to love and fight with. I can't wait!

Moving out

Sorry to those checking back for my latest series, I had major writers block with series 3 and never finished it. Life has been so great with Jeff and his health that it really is hard to think about what we went through. If you are dying to hear more of the story just let me know and I will go back to post 3. For now, we have had some major life changes with Jeff finishing school and getting a farm job in Redcliff. We found out he had the job and about a week later had our bags packed and ready for our new adventure. We love living here and Archer and I have been having a lot of fun. Jeff works long hours and it's a huge change from when he was in school and only gone for about 4-5 hours a day. We miss having him around all the time. We miss a lot of things about our old life. Mostly living in the country and being near my parents. We do love it here though, we are so excited about getting to know new people and making new friends.
When Jeff was looking for a job we were making our way north for an interview. We made it about half way to our destination when we got into a car accident that totalled our sweet little hazel. Which meant the search for a new vehicle. It took quite awhile but we finally found a great Pontiac torrent. More to come! Stay tuned.
