Sarah Kay: If I should have a daughter ... Video on TED.com
Ok, so click on the link and it will take you to an awesome video. When I saw that it was 18 minutes I figured I would just watch the first few minutes but I got hooked. Aside from being an excellent orator, she says alot of things I agree with. For years I have felt a desire to create and mostly to get what is in my head onto paper. I cant draw so thats out, but I have always wanted to write poetry or songs or something that expresses who I am and where i have been in life. I was never really good at it and that desire has been slightly left behind until I watched this video. I encourage you all to watch it. I think its awesome so I think everyone else should think its awesome too. So, in an attempt to get my creativity going, here are my 10 things I know to be true.
1. Heavenly Father loves me
2. Prayer works
3. I love my family with all my heart!
4. Life can be incredibly awesome and insanely hard all at the same time.
5. 10 month old babies get into EVERYTHING
6. My husband loves me and is stronger than I could have ever imagined
7. Dishes are NEVER done. Even if you JUST did them.
8. I can do hard things
9. I am a minimalist (dispite what some people think) and get stressed out when I am surrounded by to much stuff.
10. My house gets super cold in the winter and in the back of my mind I am wondering how I will keep Archer warm at night when he wiggles out from under his blanket.
What are 10 things you know to be true?

Haven't watched the video yet but will later. I like your idea though. Something I do for my kids to keep them warm in the winter is put them in sleeping bags with arms that zip up in the back so they can't get out. My mom made them for me from a pattern for a jacket and just made it long enough to enclose their feet. Just make sure the arm and neck holes aren't too big. Kimber wiggles right out of some of hers! Cassidy, you are awesome!
I have seen that video and I am going to watch it again cause it really is awesome and inspirational. And I think that's it's so great that you have such a desire to create in so many ways. And I agree with all 10 of those points, especially the fact that 10 month olds get into Everything!
